‘On-Line’ – Official AHA Classes Sacramento

Do you want to get one of our certifications offered by NorCal Emergency Medical Training, but do not have the time to sit for hours in a classroom? We offer official American Heart Association ‘Blended Training’ online classes where you can learn the key information from the comfort of your own home, on your own schedule, and with ample opportunity to review the material until you understand it.

At NorCal Emergency Medical Training, we understand that you are busy. If you are a healthcare professional who needs to gain or renew a certification here, you are likely extremely busy. It could be a serious burden to have to have to sit in a classroom for 7 hours a day over a two day period – your work schedule may not allow for it, or it may take up all the free time you have from your job.

Our online ‘Blended Training’ learning programs allow you to take the classroom portion of the class online.

You will get all the training materials you would have gotten in person, you will watch instructional videos, and you will submit quizzes and test for evaluation. This cuts out all the instructional classroom time from the training and enables you to complete this portion of the training at your own pace and at any time when you have leisure for it.

You will have to come to one of NorCal Emergency Medical Trainings classroom locations for the hands-on (Skills) portion of your training.

You will need to train hands-on with our equipment and to get the physical experience of performing these techniques so that they are secured in your muscle memory for quick recall. You will also need to get feedback from our certified instructors providing tips for success, how to improve your technique, and to answer any questions you may have.  However, these hands-on portions of the training are far shorter than the classroom portion. You can come in for class, after completing the online part of the training, and walk out with your certificate without having to spend an entire weekend in one of our classrooms.  Skills sessions vary depending on class.         BLS is approximately 1 hour and ACLS/PALS approximately 5 hours.
