Basic CPR & First Aid Classes
Sacramento area HeartSaver First Aid, CPR AED Training Classes in Roseville and Rancho Cordova!
The HeartSaver Courses teach Basic Level CPR AED and First Aid and are not intended for Healthcare Providers. This classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid, CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Main Courses:
This course teaches participants critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) takes over.
You do not need to be a medical professional to save a life. Often the most crucial time during a medical emergency is immediately after it begins. If a victim can get proper help in the first few moments after a choking incident, during a cardiac arrest, after going into shock, or after sustaining a serious injury, the chances for positive outcomes are dramatically increased. There are many cases of people whose lives have been saved by CPR, when the person performing CPR had no medical training or knowledge at all.
Basic CPR and First Aid classes from NorCal Emergency Medical Training are meant for people who are not medical professionals.
You will not be learning difficult techniques or expected to memorize complicated terminology. Instead, you will learn simple steps that anyone can follow to help someone in a medical emergency or even to save their life.
In a medical emergency, the most natural response is to freeze. People do not know what to do, so they step back an hope that someone else will step forward to help. If everyone does this, the victim might easily die. The CPR and First Aid training from NorCal Emergency Medical Training will give you the knowledge and confidence to step forward and help someone who needs it.
You do not need special physical skills to be able to perform CPR or First Aid. These skills are all designed so that practically anyone can do them. If you can kneel on the ground and put your weight on your hands, you can perform CPR. There is no special strength required, only knowledge of certain techniques that will allow you to keep the victim’s blood circulating while you wait for emergency medical services to arrive. Hopefully you will never need to use your CPR or First Aid training, but if you do, you will be ready!
